My name is Dave Stalter and I'm co-owner of Voodoo Monkey Tattoo. I've been tattooing since 1997. I started out as a commercial artist for many years before coming to the realization that it wasn't for me. I wanted to work directly with people in a more satisfying career, I chose tattooing. My influences in the past vary from traditional forms to realism. Recently my strongest influences derive from my peers at Voodoo Monkey, where there is a healthy competitive environment and a strong artistic sense of tattooing.
